Now for a drumroll please... Here are the fabulous author/illustrators that we will be featuring at Graphic Guise on August 20th.

Bob Boyle is the Emmy Award winning creator of the Nick Jr. series, Wow! Wow! Wubbzy! and is author/illustrator of the children's book, Hugo and the Really, Really, Really Long String. He also created the Disney series, Yin! Yang! Yo! and was a Producer and the Art Director of The Fairly OddParents.

James Burks has worked for the past fifteen years as an artist in the animation industry for companies like Disney, Warner Brothers, and Nickelodeon. Projects he has worked on include The Emperor's New Groove, Atlantis, Treasure Planet, Home on the Range, Space Jam, The Iron Giant, and the television shows Wow! Wow! Wubbzy!, Ni-hao Kai-lan, Dinosaur Train, and most recently on Fan Boy and Chum Chum.

Currently he is writing and illustrating his own books. His first graphic novel for kids, Gabby & Gator (Yen Press) was a Junior Library Guild selection. He has an upcoming graphic novel with Scholastic/Graphix.

Kazu Kibuishi is the author and illustrator of the popular Amulet graphic novel series for young readers, including Amulet (Book 1): The Stonekeeper, which was honored with the Rhode Island Children's Book Award in 2010 and the Pacific Northwest Young Readers Choice Award in 2011. The Amulet series includes The Stonekeeper's Curse, The Cloud Searchers, and The Last Council.

He published Copper, his popular web comic, in January 2010. Kazu is also founder and editor of the Flight anthologies, a critically acclaimed comics series. He is the creator of Daisy Kutter: The Last Train, a winner of the YALSA Best Books for Young Adults Award in 2006.

One day a year he is Santa Claus, but the other 364 days Dan Santat works as a children's book writer and commercial illustrator. He is also the creator of Disney's animated hit, The Replacements. Dan graduated with honors from The Art Center College of Design. He lives in Southern California with his wife, two kids, a rabbit, a bird, and one cat. His first graphic novel, Sidekicks, was just released by Arthur A. Levine.
